Your trading record
Quanify keeps several different records, and they answer different questions. Knowing which one to open saves a lot of time when something looks wrong.
Four records, four questions
| You want to know… | Open |
|---|---|
| Did my alert arrive, and what did each account do with it? | The Signal Log on Control Center |
| What am I holding right now, and what is each account worth? | The dashboard, and Account Manager |
| What did I do, and why did I do it? | The Trade Journal |
| How has this strategy actually performed? | The strategy's own page in the library |
The dashboard
The dashboard is the read-only view of everything you have running. Nothing on it places a trade — it tells you what your accounts and strategies are doing right now.
- Session Overview — total equity across every connected account, with net P&L split into unrealized and realized.
- Account Health — each sub-account ranked over the window you pick: day, week, month or all time.
- Active Positions — what is open, on which account, and from which strategy.
- Signal Log — recent signal activity, with a jump through to Control Center for the full view.
- A market countdown, your strategy summary and a headlines feed.
It keeps itself current. Balances and positions re-poll on their own, so the numbers move without a reload, and there is no refresh button to remember. If the execution engine becomes unreachable the top bar says so, and routing pauses until it is back.
The Signal Log is a session view
The Signal Log and Engine Log on Control Center show the current trading session and clear when a new one begins at the daily market open. That is on purpose — they are an operating view of what is happening now, not an archive.
If you want something to survive the session roll, write it into the Trade Journal. That is what the journal is for.
The Trade Journal is yours to write
The journal is not generated for you. You create entries — a trade, or a note about a session — and Quanify turns them into statistics: win rate, profit factor, expectancy, average R, drawdown, and a breakdown by the setup tags you use.
The reason it works that way is that the numbers were never the part that went missing. What goes missing a week later is what you were thinking. Full detail in Trade Journal.
Strategy pages carry the strategy's record
Every published Quanify strategy has its own page: the equity curve with a drawdown view, a monthly P&L calendar, the trade list, key metrics and the ratio block — Sharpe, Sortino, Calmar and recovery factor.
Where a strategy has been running live on Quanify, its forward-recorded signals are appended to the historical record and the metrics recompute over the combined set, with the boundary marked so you can see where the backtest ends and live recording begins. Signals are recorded whether or not they filled for you, so the strategy's record is the strategy's, not a reflection of your own routing.
Analytics and the Portfolio Builder
Analytics is the account-level performance view, with an account picker and date-range controls driving every panel below. It is also where the definitions live — every metric Quanify shows anywhere is explained on that page.
Portfolio Builder asks a different question: not how did this strategy do, but what would these strategies have done together. Correlated strategies that each look good alone can make a worse portfolio than either, and that only shows up when they are measured as a set.
Fill alerts
If you would rather be told than go looking, turn on notifications in Settings and Quanify raises a toast — with an optional sound — as fills land, wherever you are in the workspace. See Fill alerts and sounds.
Privacy
Your journal entries are private to your account. Hide ID in Account Manager masks identifiers and balances across the workspace when you are sharing a screen, and the P&L card generator produces an image for you to keep or share yourself — it publishes nothing.
