Quanify help: setup and troubleshooting
Most questions are either how to set something up or why nothing happened. Both are below, and the documentation covers every feature in more depth.

Set up Quanify in five steps
None of them places an order until you power a trader on.
- 01
Connect Tradovate
In Connections, press Add Account and sign in to Tradovate. Every sub-account under that login appears as its own row.
- 02
Pick a strategy
Create your own in Strategy Library to get a webhook URL, or add one Quanify publishes.
- 03
Build a trader
In Manager, press Add Trader, tick the sub-accounts it may trade and set a whole-number multiplier for each.
- 04
Power it on
New accounts land disabled. The card reads Armed only once the engine confirms every link.
- 05
Fire a signal
The webhook response in TradingView's alert log says what happened. Fills show in your workspace with a chime and a toast.
Why a signal fired but no order appeared
Check in this order, roughly most to least common. The webhook response body names the reason; see troubleshooting.
- The account is off
- New accounts on a trader start disabled. Check the card reads Armed.
- The account is muted
- A muted account refuses every signal. The reason shows on the row.
- Copy Trader is on
- The leader and its enabled followers are muted for strategy signals while it runs.
- Double entries are off
- A signal adding to a same-direction position is refused. Exits and reversals still go.
- The strategy is powered off
- The webhook answers 403. Power it on in Strategy Library.
- The alert body is wrong
- TradingView sends raw placeholder text when the alert is set up wrong.
- Duplicate or stale
- Duplicates within 2 seconds are dropped; anything stamped older than 30 seconds is refused.
Test on paper before going live
Connect a Quanify Paper account or a Tradovate demo account and run the same traders and copy group against it. The configuration carries over when you point it at a funded account.
A simulated account usually fills an order whole; a live account often fills it in pieces. Run a strategy in sim for a week first.
Connect a brokerGetting help
Ask in the Quanify Discord, search the documentation, or email [email protected]. Include the account, the strategy and roughly when the signal fired; that is usually enough to find it.
If the engine looks unreachable, the status page tracks the same heartbeat the workspace does.
Common questions
Short answers to what traders ask first. Anything else, the Help Center has it.
Why does my trader say it is not armed?
The card only reads armed once the engine confirms it holds the routing link for every account you turned on. If one account failed to link, the trader stays unarmed.
Will Quanify close my positions if I cancel or power everything off?
No. Nothing is closed for you: not on cancellation, not on power-off, not when a strategy is deleted. New signals stop routing, and anything open stays at your broker.
Can I move an account between automated and manual?
Yes, at any time. The same broker connection backs both Automation and Copy Trader.
Do I need a VPS or a desktop app?
No. The engine runs on Quanify's servers, so everything keeps running with your machine off.
How do I reach support?
Ask in the Quanify Discord, read the documentation and these help pages, or email [email protected].
Start on a simulated account. Go live when it earns it.
- Set up in minutes
- Nothing to download
- Paper account for testing
